About E1

This blog is about choices – Elite choices in business and life.  Elite choices that few – The Elite One Percent™ — make to achieve elite results.

At its root, the word elite is not about self-important ways of thinking, positions of privilege, or people far removed from everyday standards of living.  That’s what society (the other 99 percent) wants you to think.

With special thanks to Mel Robbins — radio talk show host, CNBC contributor, and serial entrepreneur — who said, “Elitism is the secret ingredient…No, you don’t have to become a snob.  You no longer fall victim to groupthink.  What applies to everyone else doesn’t apply to you.  You play by your rules.  You do things your way — always have, always will.  You now act instead of react.  This is the mindset of the elite few.”

The word “elite” is simply about choice.  And our choices affect our results – finest, run of the mill, or insufficient.

The classic Latin word eligo (έλιγο) is the basis for elite.  It is a verb.  It means to pick out, select, or choose.  It is the foundation for the English word elect.  It is what we care for, what we will endeavor after, and what we will vow to accomplish.

When we make an elite choice, we identify what we truly want.  We make decisions to follow certain courses.  We commit to achieving results that advance our businesses and lives.

Choose elite thinking.  Make elite choices.  Achieve elite results.

Welcome to The Elite One Percent™.
